Travis Jenkins has a passion for art, music, life and love. He has traveled the world playing music and sharing his works.

In 1998, while pursuing a degree in art, Jenkins co-founded the Dove Award winning rock band Pillar (pillarmusic.com), and toured with them as their guitar player. In 1999, he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas. Soon after, Pillar signed a record deal with Flicker Records and Jenkins hit the road full time as a musician giving him the unique opportunity to sell his artwork all over the world. During his time with Pillar, Jenkins was honored to meet and or play with other bands including Switchfoot, P.O.D, Chris Rice, The Daylights, Audio Adrenaline and many others. His days with Pillar are cherished and greatly influenced his art and musical endeavors.

In 2001, Jenkins left Pillar to pursue art full time. He then moved from Kansas to Nashville, TN, and has sold over 100 pieces of art to many art collectors including acclaimed singer/songwriter Chris Rice (Chris Rice.com). Most recently, Jenkins was invited to create a live "art-worship painting" during the 2006 National Day of Prayer television special. This was a huge honor as millions of people tuned in to see him paint while Rebecca St. James, Barlow Girl and Warren Barfield performed their music. Today, Jenkins paints, gives art lessons, and lives in Nashville, TN. He is and his wife Bekah are currently creating music together and will begin touring in the near future. Jenkins purpose is to spread hope, peace, justice and love through art and music into all the world.

"Stars looking at a planet watching entropy and pain and maybe start to wonder how the chaos in our lives could pass as sane...

I've been thinking about the meaning of resistence of a hope beyond my own and suddenly the infinite and penitent begin to look like home....I've been thinking about everyone, everyone you look so empty.....but when I look at the stars I feel like myself, when I look at the stars I see someone."
